There is a lot of evidence that shows that repetition is critical for neuroplasticity, or the ability to change the brain.
One way to make sure you have enough repetition to both learn and integrate a new or emerging skill is to enroll in one of our intensive therapy programs.
A typical intensive therapy program involves an individualized program involving 2-4 hours a day, 5 days a week, for anywhere between 1 and three weeks in duration.
This model of therapy is typically used for clients who are aged 3 years up to adult, and will always be scheduled after an initial screening to determine suitability for the program.
Our experience has been that many clients develop many more skills in this model of treatment then they would with a similar model spread out throughout the year.
